2. Set up your Roles and Permissions

Centralize and control the management of your platform with defined Roles and Permissions.

In the previous chapter:
We lined up the results that you can expect to achieve with your Napp solution. These involved streamlined communication and optimized content among other things.
Read the previous chapter here.

In this chapter:
You will learn how to create Roles and Permissions. This is the starting point for setting up a great account. Roles and Permissions define what your users can do in the backend and in the app. Setting up Roles and Permissions ensures that not everyone can do everything, but that people only get access to the features that are relevant to them and their job function. That helps to make your solution more logical and user-friendly.

Examples of two Roles could be e.g. Sales Rep and Content Manager. The Sales Rep could get Permissions to e.g. all the app features, whereas the Content Manager could get the Permissions related to e.g. managing content and viewing content statistics in the backend.

What to do:
You access your Napp platform or the “backend” as we also call it with your version of the URL yourcompanyname.nappsiesta.com/login.
Enter your credentials and click “Login”. Then you will see your dashboard and are ready to watch the video below.

In the next chapter:
We will create Users and Teams so you can start collaborating with your colleagues in Napp.
